In his Dec 4 adult ed class, “The Postsecular Sacred: Listening for a Way Forward,” David Solem led the class in an exploration of some of the traumas of modern society and our responses to them.

David Solem, a licensed clinical social worker, brought in the Jungian belief that the human psyche craves a connection to something greater, to the divine. The class opens with the Bruce Springstein song, “Into the Fire,” and class members were called to listen and respond.
