What does it mean to be faithful to our values in today’s world? What role should our church play in advocating for policies that support what we believe are the teachings of Jesus? To attempt to answer these questions, we held a church-wide discussion over lunch. For those not able to attend we held another discussion via Zoom on Monday evening, December 8th. Last year and again this year our Prayer Shawl group has made numerous scarves to be given to the day laborers who congregate in the park across from Guadalupe church hoping to be hired for work. Our Prayer Shawl group, which has been known for their beautiful shawls for those in our congregation in need of comfort, are once again finding a way to share our faith with the Santa Fe community.
