This Sunday we will be reading the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8). In this story, Jesus teaches us to never give up praying and to trust that God hears us. We will discuss how we can trust that God is listening, even when it seems like nothing is happening. Our children bring their beloved pets or photos of their pets for the Blessing of the Animals in the worship service. Then later after they receive a blessing of their own, they leave the worship service to continue to show their love by creating Fall centerpieces for our homebound members.Read more

Baby Hygiene Supplies Needed

The Las Cumbres Welcome Center in Santa Fe is in need of infant and toddler diapers, baby wipes and all ages hygiene supplies (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.) for their Immigrant and refugee services. First Presbyterian, as a member of the Faith Coalition, is participating in this diaper baby hygiene drive. A donation box is available in the lobby.Read more
