August 2nd, we provided 65 children (ages 6 month to 12 years) and a few adults with COVID vaccinations in our child-friendly preschool. We had to go get more vaccines to serve all who arrived.
The clinic was open to the public and provided both Moderna and Pfizer. The children received their vaccine in the classrooms and then had their observation period on the playground with stickers and popsicles. Families appreciated the child friendly environment.
We will be hosting a follow-up clinic for the second dose in about 30 days (date to be determined).
