In response to new actions restricting voting rights, this Presbyterian Advocacy Hour focuses on how faith communities can organize in response and why it is important for Christians. The panel features Rev. Adm Taylor, president of Sojourners, and Rev. Dr. Hanna R. Broome and Rev. Dr. Alvin O’Neal Jackson from the Poor People’s Campaign.

Panel members will share about their experiences equipping Christians to fulfill their civic vocation as voters and community organizers. Participants will also receive a new Voter Guide of top issues in this year’s election, Congregational Guide to increasing voter turnout, and August Recess Advocacy Resource.
