This Sunday we begin our journey through the bible with a lesson from Genesis 1:1-2:3. We introduce our children to how God magnificently created the wonderful world in which we live. This Sunday the children hear the story in Mark 10: 13-16 when Jesus scolded his disciples for trying to prevent children from coming to him. Wild Fire Risk and Mitigation

At our Saturday Prepared by Men Breakfast, we welcome Porfirio Chavarria, the Wildland Urban Interface Specialist with the Santa Fe Fire Dept. He has extensive experience in wildland firefighting, forestry techniques, and erosion mitigation. He will present his recently developed program of wildfire risk assessment and mitigation, both rural and urban.

The Women’s Circle of Friends invites women to join their first gathering o 2025 on Saturday January 11, in person and on Zoom, when they begin the new book A Heart as Wide as the World: Stories on the Path of Lovingkindness by Sharon Salzberg, a beloved Buddist meditation teacher. We are all in need of essays on Lovingkindness, from all spiritual traditions.
