What does it mean to be faithful to our values in today’s world? What role should our church play in advocating for policies that support what we believe are the teachings of Jesus? To attempt to answer these questions, we held a church-wide discussion over lunch. For those not able to attend we held another discussion via Zoom on Monday evening, December 8th. People were invited to bring their thoughts, concerns, fears, and convictions.Read more
A Protest Song with Life-Changing Lyrics
Alternative Worship Service, Dec 10
VIDEO. A second Alternative Worship Service was held at Second Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque on December 10th. This moving service features Rory Cooney’s "Canticle of the Turning." The lyrics are based on the Magnificat, Mary’s song of praise when she learns that she will give birth to Jesus, the baby who will usher in a time of peace. View the video.Read more
Sharing Our Faith
Last year and again this year our Prayer Shawl group has made numerous scarves to be given to the day laborers who congregate in the park across from Guadalupe church hoping to be hired for work. Our Prayer Shawl group, which has been known for their beautiful shawls for those in our congregation in need of comfort, are once again finding a way to share our faith with the Santa Fe community.

The Millicent Rogers Museum (Taos) opens an exhibit of Navajo quilter Susan Hudson on Nov 15 (reception, 5-7pm). Our church has donated supplies to Susan's Navajo Quilt Project, which teaches quilting and sewing to Navajo students.
