Drop off box in lobby
Got old eyeglasses stashed somewhere? You can drop them off in our lobby in a box near the bottle cap collection box. Our church has joined with five other churches in the Faith Coalition to partner with the Lions Club in their collection of used eyeglasses. Find that stash and let those old eyeglasses help someone who could really use them.Read more
The Navajo Quilt Project
Pop-Up Event, Patio, Aug 23, 10am-1pm
We are conducting a Navajo Quilting Pop-Up on Aug 23, 10am-1pm, to collect sewing equipment, materials, and fabric for Navajo quilters to use to make quilts for needy elders in their communities. Our collection area for cars passing by will be on the Grant Ave patio. We will also accept finished quilts and checks to FPC for "Navajo Quilting Project."Read more
The Navajo Quilt Project
Pop-Up Event, Patio, Aug 23, 10am-1pm
As we did in 2023, First Presbyterian is collecting items for the Navajo Quilt Project. The last collection was such a success it required two trucks to take the items to the Sheep Springs Chapter House on the Navajo Nation. Throughout the summer we will be gathering fabric, quilting supplies and finished quilts to donate.Read more

Join the festivities for Santa Fe Pride. FPC will be sharing booth space on the Plaza with Westminster Presbyterian Church. Help is needed to locate a canopy tent, carry a table and chairs to the plaza, meet and greet people during the event and hand out goodies.Read more
A Documentary by Mark Wynn
Town Hall Event, Jun 19, 6:30pm
Join Esperanza Shelter in Pope Hall for a powerful screening of the documentary film, This is Where I Learned Not to Sleep, followed by a town hall meeting on domestic violence and how it impacts our entire community. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Mark Wynn, former Lieutenant from Nashville PD and domestic violence expert.Read more
Interfaith Community Shelter Update
As you may have already heard, the City of Santa Fe has ended the lease for Interfaith Community Shelter, also known as Pete's Place, on Cerrillos Road. A new company, Urban Alchemy, will occupy that space starting August 1st to operate the shelter and provide street outreach.
