The Navajo Quilt Project

Pop-Up Event, Patio, Aug 23, 10am-1pm

We are conducting a Navajo Quilting Pop-Up on Aug 23, 10am-1pm, to collect sewing equipment, materials, and fabric for Navajo quilters to use to make quilts for needy elders in their communities. Our collection area for cars passing by will be on the Grant Ave patio. We will also accept finished quilts and checks to FPC for "Navajo Quilting Project."

A Documentary by Mark Wynn

Town Hall Event, Jun 19, 6:30pm

Join Esperanza Shelter in Pope Hall for a powerful screening of the documentary film, This is Where I Learned Not to Sleep, followed by a town hall meeting on domestic violence and how it impacts our entire community. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Mark Wynn, former Lieutenant from Nashville PD and domestic violence expert.
