Our June luncheon will provide an opportunity for members to look back on the past year with deep gratitude—and to look to the future with confidence. How? During lunch, a Pastor Nominating Committee member will be seated at each table for conversation about your priorities for our next pastor. Conversations will be casual, and each committee member will take notes.

This is only the first of a number of listening sessions planned for coming months. We want to hear from you, and we’ll be scheduling plenty of opportunities for you to speak. One such opportunity will be at an Adult Ed class on June 28th, which will be held in person and via Zoom for our remote members.

After our table conversations, we’ll end with cake, cards, and many thanks to the wonderful people who carried First Pres through the months before Pastor Ashley arrived. Please join us in a hearty THANK YOU to ANDREW BLACK, JEN BLACK, MARIE GONZALEZ, JUDI HAINES, ANNE LILEY, LINDA RANEY and others, for being here when we needed them.
